For Vendors
If your product is named on Ravna
This page explains what our classifications mean, how we research them, and how to request a correction. If a finding about your product is inaccurate, we want to fix it, and the process is quick.
1. What Ravna is
Ravna is an independent research service. It documents AI features in enterprise software and offers an interpretation of how those features may relate to the EU AI Act, so that the organisations deploying the software can understand their potential obligations. It is a tool built for deployers to assess their own exposure. It is not a compliance verdict on vendors.
2. What our classifications mean, and what they do not
Every classification on Ravna is our independent opinion, based on publicly available documentation as of a stated date. It is commentary, not a statement of fact.
A classification is not a determination that your product, your company, or any of your customers is non-compliant with the EU AI Act or any other law. Whether a classification applies in practice depends entirely on how a specific customer configures and deploys a feature. Many capabilities we flag are perfectly lawful in most deployments, and the same feature can sit in different risk positions for different organisations.
3. How we research
We work only from public sources: your own documentation, help centres, release notes, trust pages, and public statements. Every finding is dated and carries a confidence level, and we cite the sources we relied on. When we cannot confirm a behaviour from public sources, we record a documentation gap rather than making an assertion.
4. If you believe a finding is inaccurate
We would rather be accurate than fast, and we update findings whenever the documentation supports it. To request a correction, use our correction form. Please include the product and feature, what is inaccurate, and a link to the documentation that supports the correction. We review every submission and aim to respond within 10 business days. Vendors receive the same process as any other party, with no disadvantage and no special hurdle.
5. Our independence
Ravna does not accept payment from vendors for classification, review, removal, or preferential placement. No vendor sees findings before publication, no vendor funds Ravna, and no vendor has editorial control. That independence is the entire point: the organisations who rely on Ravna need intelligence that no vendor can buy or suppress.
6. Trademarks and identification
Vendor and product names, logos, and marks referenced on Ravna are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, reference, and commentary only. Ravna is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any vendor it covers.
7. Contact
