Automated Supplier Gating — Sourcing Event Access Control

Introduced in JAGGAER 25.3, this feature automatically blocks suppliers classified as unqualified or high-risk from participating in sourcing events and from being awarded contracts. The block is triggered by AI-derived risk or compliance scores without requiring a separate human approval step. Conditional assessment rules can also auto-trigger reviews based on defined criteria, but the gating decision itself is executed by the system.

Continuous Supplier Risk Scoring & Monitoring

JAGGAER AI continuously monitors suppliers across financial health, ESG exposure, operational resilience, and geopolitical risk in near-real time. AI aggregates structured and unstructured data including financial filings, sanctions lists, ESG disclosures, and adverse media to generate predictive risk scores linked directly to active contracts and purchase orders. When a supplier score breaches a configurable threshold, the system automatically triggers mitigation workflows.

Agentic Supplier Evaluation & Auto-Scoring (JAI)

JAGGAER Agentic AI (JAI) is positioned as the roadmap vision for autonomous supplier evaluation. As of the 25.3 release (August 2025), current capability covers AI-assisted scorecard auto-fill and guided scenario-based supplier ranking — human review remains required before shortlisting or award decisions. JAGGAER explicitly states in published blog content that "while scorecard auto-fills are already possible, and there is some progress on scenario-based ranking, it will be a couple of years before we see other features of agentic AI-based supplier evaluation." The full vision — autonomous multi-dimensional scoring across TCO, ESG, and cybersecurity with AI-generated award recommendations without human prompting — is a product roadmap target, not a currently deployed capability.
